In this article, we are going to focus on the Vapoeron Eeveelution. Vaporeon is a Generation I Pokemon. It is also one of the most popular Pokemon and has appeared in many Pokemon movies. Vaporeon is a water-type Pokemon. It is light blue in color with dark blue shades around its head. The shades continue through to its fins up to the tip of its tail. Vaporeon also has a white fin around its neck, as well as above its head and its ears. In the mainline games, Vaporeon evolves from Eevee after the latter is exposed to a Water Stone. In Pokemon Go, Vaporeon can be acquired by feeding 25 candies to an Eevee. There is a chance that an Eevee might evolve into a Flareon, Jolteon, or Vaporeon. One advantage of trying to find an Eevee in Pokemon Go is that it is not hard, so, if you fail the first time, you can easily find a new one and try evolving that one into a Vaporeon. Additionally, there is a much easier method of getting a Vaporeon. You just have to name an Eevee “Rainer”, quit Pokemon Go, restart it, and then you will have an option to evolve Eevee into a Vaporeon. Another way of getting a Vaporeon is to find one in the wild. Just be aware that a wild Vaporeon has a 12% base capture rate and a 5% flee rate. Aside from the sentimental value of having a Vaporeon in your roster, Vaporeon is objectively the best Eevee evolution and is a great choice whether you are a veteran or a rookie Pokemon Go player. Vaporeon can dish out high DPS and compared to all Eevee evolutions, it has the highest maximum CP at 3,114. Vaporeon is also one of the best water-type Pokemon in the game. Those water-type Pokemon that are more powerful than Vaporeon, are also significantly much harder to capture, making the effort of acquiring a Vaporeon good value in return for your time. While it is true that Vaporeon is inferior compared to other water-type Pokemon, like Gyarados and Kyogre, these two Pokemon are exponentially more difficult to obtain. Kyogre can only be obtained by participating in raids, as a reward in research breakthroughs, or trading. On the other hand, Gyarados is evolved from a Magikarp by feeding the latter 400 candies. At launch, Vaporeon was one of the best Pokemon in Pokemon Go. Today, Vaporeon may not be the best water-type Pokemon anymore, but it has retained its place as one of the higher tier Pokemon regardless of type. In either PVP or PVE, Vaporeon fits the bill if a Water-type Pokemon is needed. Another underrated trait of Vaporeon is it has one of the better defense ratings.
