Contrary to the earlier reports, Ubisoft is skipping the entire month of June. This means that it won’t be at Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest on June 9 and it definitely will not be a part of the Xbox and Bethesda showcase on June 12. However, it’s not all bad news. As per Axios, while Ubisoft doesn’t have a June presentation in the works, it’s set to host another one “later this year.” Unfortunately, the report failed to clarify if the next Ubisoft event is the fourth iteration of Ubisoft Forward. Unlike in previous years, Ubisoft’s upcoming lineup is very much a question mark right now. After launching Rainbow Six Extraction earlier this year and Far Cry 6 in 2021, we don’t know what to expect from Ubisoft. We know that Skull and Bones is coming, but the rest are huge unknowns. Here’s a list of all upcoming Ubisoft games with no release windows let alone release dates:
Assassin’s Creed Infinity Stealth-focused Assassin’s Creed spin-off Beyond Good and Evil 2 Prince of Persia remake
If it’s any consolation, other companies have stepped up in the absence of E3. Case in point, Sony just concluded its June 2022 State of Play event, where it revealed the long-rumored Resident Evil 4 Remake, Marvel’s Spider-Man for the PC, and a new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI.
