According to Sony’s latest announcement, the PSVR 2 will hit store shelves starting February 22, 2023. This is in line with the company’s earlier claims about its release. On top of the release date, Sony has confirmed the price of the PSVR 2 and it’s not cheap. Here’s a breakdown of the PlayStation VR 2 pricing:

With a starting price of $550, the PlayStation VR 2 isn’t cheap. If you factor in the price of the price hiked PlayStation 5, you’ll need to shell out more than $1,000 to enjoy a next-gen VR experience on PlayStation. If it’s any consolation, Sony will reportedly have two million units ready to be shipped. The only question now is, are people going to bite?
