What is the story of American Horror Story season 10?
The story of Red Tide will focus on a young writer and his family. In an attempt to channel every ounce of creativity from his mind, he and his family relocate to a small coastal town for some peace and quiet. Initially, the relocation appears to work, he’s writing again and all his creative juices seem to be flowing. However, as the young writer and his family soon find out, they’re not the only ones inhabiting their new home. From what we can make out based on the trailer, the writer’s sudden influx in creativity is somehow related to a certain despicable act committed in the town. The first half of season 10 appears to revolve around themes such as the price of success. This further implies that the town will reward those who seek great things, in exchange for something grave in return of course. We’ll have to wait for August 25 to find out exactly what the necessary sacrifice is, but judging from what we’ve already seen from the trailer, we know that the tenth season will deliver its fair share of gruesome and memorable scares. What’s interesting here is that the season is split into two parts, which suggests that Red Tide will tie into the second part, Death Valley. Series showrunner, Ryan Murphy, didn’t exactly clarify things when questioned how it is all connected. Instead, he opted to explain that Red Tide will take place “by the sea” and Death Valley " by the sand. In other related news, Hulu’s American Horror Story spin-off is going strong deep into its first season.
