To celebrate the arrival of Deadlands, ZeniMax Online Studios has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming story DLC.
Deadlands marks the end of Gates of Oblivion
ZeniMax Online Studios has done an excellent job giving Elder Scrolls fans something to look forward to every year. The usual cycle involves releasing a major chapter every summertime on top of three other additional DLCs that help round out the content. For this year, the final piece of the proverbial puzzle is Deadlands, which introduces a new zone as part of the Gates of Oblivion storyline. The launch trailer for Deadlands showcases all the new explorable locations that are coming to The Elder Scrolls Online, including Fargrave. Fittingly enough, the big baddies of Deadlands are impressive if a little bit terrifying, especially Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedric Prince of Destruction who just happens to be the voice of the latest gameplay trailer. Players will have a chance to do battle against the antagonistic Daedric Prince after completing the three bonus quests that are unlocked once you’ve finished all the Blackwood and Deadlands main story quests. In addition to the Deadlands DLC, ZeniMax Online Studios is also releasing Update 32 for The Elder Scrolls Online. One of the latest features coming to the MMORPG is the Armory System that makes it more convenient to switch between builds. Curated drops for sets are also coming to the game, which will attempt to drop set items that a particular player has not acquired yet in a bid to make it less difficult to obtain powerful gear. The Deadlands DLC is available for free for all ESO Plus subscribers. It is also available for purchase for 2,000 Crowns. Those who are interested can also purchase the digital collector’s bundle for 4,000 Crowns, which adds the Nightmare Bear mount, the Deadlands Bantam Guar pet, and Crown Experience Scrolls. In other The Elder Scrolls news, Bethesda revealed earlier this year that The Elder Scrolls VI isn’t coming for at least a couple of years. Once it arrives, The Elder Scrolls VI is going to be exclusive to the Xbox Series S/X. At the moment, Bethesda is busy working on Starfield, which is set to release on November 11, 2022.
