Eagle-eyed observers recently spotted a rating, courtesy of the South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC). According to the GRAC rating, Street Fighter 6 will have a 15+ label in South Korea. This is the equivalent to the M-rating of the ESRB. Although the rating isn’t a surprise, the timing is. But, if you think about it, with Evo Japan 2023 slated for March 31 to April 2 at Tokyo Big Sight, we wouldn’t be surprised if Street Fighter 6 comes out around the same time. Coincidentally, Tekken 8 might also get a release date at EVO 2023 if it’s not already out by then, so the next big fighting game tournament could see the return of the two biggest fighting game franchises in gaming history. Having said that, the most interesting date to circle on the calendars right now is The Game Awards on December 8. Capcom is expected to be at this year’s The Game Awards in Los Angeles after Resident Evil 4 was nominated as one of the most anticipated games. Fingers crossed, we’ll find out more about Street Fighter 6 at the event. Speaking of The Game Awards, Street Fighter 6 might not be the only game to get a release date in a few weeks. It joins a long list of games still without launch dates such as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and Diablo 4. Also, after winning GOTY last year for It Takes Two, Hazelight Studios will be at The Game Awards to presumably announce its next game.
