Now, apparently Bethesda is making waves off the back of updating the Steam Page for Starfield. Rumors have begun to circulate that the recent update to the Steam Page may be a sign that the game will be accepting pre-orders shortly. Bethesda has updated some key pre-release materials for the game. There is also a new banner that prominently highlights the game as part of the Xbox Studio. Starfield will be a Microsoft-exclusive title after the acquisition of Bethesda by Microsoft. These changes have been spotted by eagle-eyed fans of Starfield. Checking on SteamDB, there has indeed been some updates to the game. The details for the game were last updated on September 26, 2022. The updates may just mean that the devs were updating collateral and other details. However, fans are very eager to know when Starfield is going to be released. As stated on the game’s Steam page, Starfield will be coming out in 2023. There are some rumors that it may come in early 2023. Bethesda has already pushed back the release window, with Starfield originally being set to release on November 11, 2022. Starfield will certainly be one of the highly anticipated games to launch in 2023. If it does come in early 2023, it stands to compete with the likes of Hogwarts Legacy, Forspoken, and Dead Island 2. The Dead Space remake is also scheduled to release in January of 2023. As one of the most anticipated games, fans have been keeping an eye on the Steam page and all other sources of information. The update to the page was first reported on the Starfield subreddit. Players have been expecting pre-orders for Starfield to open at any time, as other big IPs are already accepting pre-purchases. As big of a release as Starfield is, one would assume that Bethesda would capitalize on the hype to snag pre-orders now. Another theory is that Bethesda is preparing to reveal the game’s hardware requirements in the coming days. Typically, the hardware specifications come with the pre-order for PC games. Fans are also hoping that Bethesda will provide new information regarding Starfield during the “Worlds of Bethesda” event happening in Australia on October 7 & 8. According to the event summary, Worlds of Bethesda will include “a planetary exploration and anti-gravity space room inspired by Starfield.” For now, we will just have to wait for the official announcement from Bethesda regarding pre-orders for Starfield.
