The program will operate as a Talk Show featuring Resident Evil Village and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. The hosts for the Resident Evil Village segment include Capcom’s director Morimasa Sato, model Kayo Satoh, and Hatsune Matsushima, while the hosts for the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade segment are Square Enix’s producer Yoshinori Kitase, actress Hatsune Matsushima, and Takuya Nakamura. These are the only two titles announced so far, but it is unclear if during the 60-minute program there will be room for showing other games. It is also unbeknownst if they will show new gameplay sequences from the two aforementioned games or if they will just discuss what we’ve seen so far since Sony itself refers to the event as a Talk Show. On March 18 we will have the first-ever Square Enix Presents, showcasing some of the developer games. Square shared the presentation schedule and while most of the games hail from the European headquarters, Balan Wonderworld is in the company’s eastern care, which gives us a sliver of hope in seeing some surprise Final Fantasy announcement. If so, the Play! Play! Play! event may review the new information exhibited. Resident Evil Village will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on May 7 worldwide. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will arrive for PlayStation 5 on June 10 worldwide.
