Fans find potential GTA VI teaser in remastered GTA trailer
It’s been almost a decade since Rockstar released GTA V and the wait for GTA VI continues. To make matters worse, we don’t think that the studio will announce the game let alone drop a reveal trailer until after 2022 following the delay of GTA 5 for next-gen consoles. However, this hasn’t stopped fans from combing through every GTA-related file they can get their hands on, including the latest trailer for the upcoming GTA Trilogy compilation.
— GTA 6 NEWS & LEAKS (@NEWSLEAKSGTAS) October 24, 2021 After Rockstar revealed what the remastered versions of GTA III, San Andreas, and Vice City, would look like, fans noticed something peculiar. There’s a scene where Tommy Vercetti is on his motorbike with a license plate that reads ICSLV. Many fans believe that this means that “Vice City is coming soon” with LV representing the roman numeral equivalent of 55, suggesting that Rockstar is going to announce GTA 6 on December 16. Now, this isn’t the first time that fans have noticed a unique license plate and believed that it was connected to GTA VI. This also happened a few months ago when Rockstar released the latest trailer for GTA 5 on next-gen consoles. It should go without saying that you shouldn’t just believe everything that we just said, nor the theories. When you consider the earlier leaks that GTA VI won’t release until 2025, a December 16, 2021 reveal does seem like it’s too soon. Here’s hoping that Rockstar says something - anything - about GTA 6 soon, if only so players can finally stop with their wild speculations.
