Case in point, one eagle-eyed fan spotted what appears to be an easter egg for Red Dead Redemption 2 in GTA: San Andreas Definitive Edition.

Is O’Creagh’s Run from RDR2 in San Andreas?

Rockstar first released San Andreas back in 2004. Back then, it was near-impossible for games to have very detailed backgrounds. Fast forward to today and Rockstar has taken full advantage of modern technology. Not only does San Andreas look a lot better now on modern consoles, but the remastered version of the classic 2004 title features a particularly detailed painting. According to Redditor /u/Cooper_Raccoon, there is a painting of Red Dead Redemption 2’s O’Creagh’s Run hidden inside Ryder’s house. If the above image does show an easter egg of Red Dead Redemption 2, there’s no telling just how many more easter eggs Rockstar added to Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. Rockstar finally released the GTA Trilogy remaster on November 11. This means that players haven’t had a lot of time to comb through all three games yet. If Rockstar confirms that the painting is indeed an easter egg, you’d best bet that the studio has hidden more. We can expect gamers to find other easter eggs hidden neatly inside the remastered titles in the coming weeks if not months. We already know there is a few extra cheat codes too. Speaking of GTA, did you know that a remaster of both Grand Theft Auto IV and the original Red Dead Redemption is in the works? Even if this is not confirmed information, a reliable source claims to know that Rockstar is working on remastered versions of the aforementioned titles. The same leaker suggests that Rockstar is releasing both remasters sometime in 2023.
