With Quantic having flown under the radar since Detroit: Become Human hit store shelves, you can’t blame fans for wondering what the studio is up to next. If we believe the recent rumors, we won’t have to wait for more than a day to find out more about Quantic Dream’s next project. Technically, we already know what Quantic Dream is working on. The studio revealed Star Wars: Eclipse last year. Unfortunately, we later found out that the studio won’t be releasing the game before 2025. In the meantime, it appears that Quantic Dream has a mobile game and a medieval fantasy humor game in the works. Furthermore, Tom Henderson claims that the studio will show off the game at a behind-the-scenes presentation at Gamescom 2022. TLDR; Quantic Dream will be at Gamescom 2022 but the public won’t get a chance to watch their upcoming projects. For what it’s worth, Quantic Dream’s upcoming games might hit store shelves sooner than later. The mobile game, Spellcaster, is a collaborative effort with Netease. Meanwhile, the studio has reportedly worked on the fantasy title, Dreamland, for over seven years. Both would tide audiences over while waiting for Star Wars: Eclipse. But, Henderson adds that it is still possible that we’ll hear more of Star Wars: Eclipse soon. Gamescom 2022 is looking more and more stacked by the day. In addition to the confirmed attendees such as Microsoft, Ubisoft, THQ Nordic, and Unknown Worlds, we can also expect something from Kojima Productions and CD Projekt RED.
