With Days Gone and Zombie Army 4 on PS4, you’ll need to call Claire or Leon to aid in your gameplay. PS5 gets the world release of Oddworld: Soulstorm directly on Plus. If you want to help Abe save his fellow Mudokons from slavery, the time is now. Don’t forget the Play At Home initiative, free PlayStation games to encourage you to stay home and protect yourself from the pandemic. Check out more information and trailers for the games below:

Days Gone | PS4

In Days Gone, you play Deacon St. John, a traveler and bounty hunter who traded camp life for dangerous adventure on the road. Two years after a global pandemic (oh boy), humanity has been almost exterminated. Thousands of people have turned into Freakers, a kind of dumb but fast-evolving zombie. The game is an open world with a third-person perspective. Alongside your trusty motorcycle companion, you can do various missions with stealth approaches or be aggressive using a variety of short- and long-range weapons. You can upgrade and build new items, just like in most contemporary games. Days Gone has a day and night cycle feature, by day the zombies are slower and weaker, and by night the real devils. Rain and snow also have some effect on the Freakers.

Zombie Army 4 | PS4

What do Persona 2, Wolfenstein, and Zombie Army 4 have in common? In all of them, you can kill Hitler. In the case of Zombie Army, kill again. Zombie Army 4 has players face the Nazi leader, who is now a zombie. After the events of the Dead War, a satanic cult has summoned the dark dictator, and it is up to the survivors to exterminate the evil Führer once and for all. The game emerged as a spin-off of the Sniper Elite series and you can notice the mechanics are very similar, something you would call a rip-off if not made by the same company. With each shot, the slow-motion gameplay graces you with an explosion of zombie brains and gore. One of the big differences is in the cooperative mode that is very similar to Left 4 Dead. So if you like snipers, zombies, and beating up Hitler, this is your game.

Oddworld: Soulstorm | PS5

Abe returns with the mission to save his fellow Mudokons from slavery once again. But that’s because the game decided to ignore some sequels. Soulstorm will be darker and more industrial than its predecessor. Abe will continue doing what he does best, rescuing his fellow Mudokons and sabotaging factories, now in near-3D graphics, or as Oddworld Inhabitants defines it: 2.9D. Like every modern game, there will be a system for creating items from the mixture of objects collected on the journey, (didn’t I just type that up there?) like adding nails to a drink can to create a weapon. The breadth of the crafting system is intended to make Soulstorm deeper and increase the replay factor, as different approaches to challenges will also have a big impact on the outcome of the storyline. The game launches on April 6th and coincidentally it’s on the same day that Plus will release April’s library. So if you are one of the lucky ones who managed to grab a PS5, help Abe, he deserves it.
