Continuing the tradition, a revised version of Nuketown called Nuketown ‘84 has returned in Black Ops Cold War. And of course, it comes with its signature mannequin easter egg. Nuketown won’t be Nuketown without the easter egg now, would it? The new easter egg is an exciting take on the mannequin easter egg as it transforms your whole game into a retro-arcade 80s theme by applying a digital filter on your screen. Just follow the steps given below and you will be performing the easter egg yourself in no time as well. You must complete the whole process within approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds, or else it won’t work. You can do this easter egg in custom games as well - it can be pretty hectic trying to perform it in a public lobby! There are two versions of this easter egg and both of them give you a different filter. One version gives a purple filter, while the other gives a green filter. Along with the filter, a synth-wave song is also played in the background, which further adds to the whole easter egg’s retro vibe.

Purple Filter
To get the purple filter you must shoot the head off all the mannequins on the map, and you need to perform this within 1 minute and 30 seconds, as mentioned before. Once you shoot the last head off, your screen will instantly change and the music starts playing.
Green Filter
To get the green filter you must shoot both the arms and the heads of the mannequins. Once you’ve done this successfully, a green filter is instantly applied with music playing in the background.
The spawn locations of all these mannequins are completely random every time you load up the map. But you will notice that they tend to have a fixed set of locations where they always spawn. You’ll get familiar with these locations after performing this easter egg just 3-4 times. A useful tip we have to complete this easter egg easily is to go from one end to the other while checking top to bottom of the house. Do not move to the other side until you’ve checked the house (top to bottom), the backyard, and the garage. Then come to the middle and check the bus, the parked car outside, and either side of the middle bus. Then finally, do the same for the house on the other side of the street.
Good luck with this easter egg. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below, and we will try our best to get back to you.
