Firaxis Games announced it was developing Marvel’s Midnight Suns last year and initially set a March 2022 release. The studio also released a gameplay trailer to give players an idea of what to expect in the game. However, the developer has since changed the game’s release date several times, including an October date, before eventually settling on December. To stoke anticipation for the game, Firaxis Games has been releasing trailers to showcase each character. Apart from Blade, the studio has released trailers for Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Wolverine, Scarlet Witch, The Hunter, and Magik. There are still two characters, Nico Minoru and Ghost Rider, yet to get their own spotlight trailers. However, since the game is still two months away, it is only a matter of time before Firaxis Games releases their trailers, too. In the game, players will take on the role of The Hunter as she leads a group of superheroes to battle against her mother, Lilith. Lilith is also the Mother of Demons and her goal is to fulfill an ancient prophecy and summon her evil master, Chthon. The Hunter and her superhero team must stop her before she does that. Firaxis Games will release Marvel’s Midnight Suns on December 2, 2022.
