What’s New In Genshin Impact 1.5?
In their latest Special Program, miHoYo highlighted much of the changes that they’ll make to Genshin Impact once the 1.5 update arrives. As always, players are looking forward to yet another character. After Cryo user Rosaria launched alongside the 1.4 update, miHoYo is bringing the four-star character Yanfei and five-star character Eula to Genshin Impact. In addition to this, the 1.5 update will also bring everything from new weekly bosses, events, a house customization feature, and the aforementioned new Domain.
Where Is The Ridge Watch Domain?
Finding the Ridge Watch Domain in Genshin impact will be easy. As soon as the latest update arrives, all players need to do is to go northwest of Wyrmrest Valley and south of Dawn Winery. Similar to previous Domains introduced in past updates, players will need to pay 20 Resin to collect the rewards. Once inside Ridge Watch, players can start farming for the new Artifact sets, which were also revealed during the latest Genshin Impact Special Program.
How Do You Enter the Ridge Watch Domain?
To enter the first level of Ridge Watch in Genshin Impact, miHoYo recommends that players have an AR level of at least 30 with level 59 characters. The recommended AR goes up to 35 with at least level 69 characters for the second level. Finally, for the third and fourth levels, miHoYo recommends players have an AR of at least 35 and 40, as well as characters level 69 and 80, respectively. It’s worth noting that you don’t need to go up to the fourth level of Ridge Watch to collect the two Artifact sets. However, if you want to get the five-star versions, they’re only available starting at Unyielding 3. Speaking of the new Artifact sets, the two new ones are namely the Tenacity of the Millelith and the Pale Flame. The Pale Flame is a 4-piece Artifact set that grants characters a 25% increase to Physical DMG (2 pieces) and a 9% increase in ATK for 7 seconds after hitting enemies with an Elemental Skill (4 pieces). The latter effect can stack twice, which will double the 2-piece bonus for a total of 50% increase to Physical DMG. The Tenacity of the Millelith is also a 4-piece Artifact set. However, its bonuses revolve mainly in granting bonus health. With 2 pieces equipped, characters receive a 20% increase in health. Meanwhile, when a character equips all 4 pieces, the bonus grants a 20% increase in ATK and a 30% increase in shield strength for 3 seconds to all party members for every time a character lands an Elemental Skill on an enemy. What’s most interesting about the Tenacity of the Millelith set is that the effect will still trigger even if you don’t put the character you equipped with the Tenacity of the Millelith on the battlefield. In addition to the two new Artifact sets, players can also collect other Artifact sets in Ridge Watch, such as the Martial Artist set and the Heart of Bravery set.
