During the season finale of Attorney at Law, Bruce Banner shows up with his son Skaar as Jen, Matt Murdock, and others are having lunch. The introduction of Skaar ties the She-Hulk series to the Planet Hulk and World War Hulk story arcs from the comics. To no one’s surprise, fans have been busy suggesting theories after Banner revealed Skaar. Many believe that this is Marvel’s way of setting up a Hulk solo movie. Keep in mind that this wouldn’t be the first time that an MCU TV show would set up the stage for a film in the franchise. Case in point, WandaVision effectively kicked off the plot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which came close to topping a billion at the global box office.

World War Hulk movie

In the comic books, Bruce Banner was banished to the planet Sakaar by the Illuminati after rampaging through Las Vegas. In Sakaar, Hulk is forced to be a gladiator and fights for the Red King. In one of the matches, Banner manages to free himself and goes on to fight the Red King. He overthrows the king and becomes the new ruler of Sakaar. He then takes Caiera, a powerful warrior, as his wife, who eventually becomes pregnant and gives birth to Skaar. Unfortunately, an explosion would later kill Caiera. We already had a glimpse of Hulk during his time in Sakaar in Thor: Ragnarok. In the movie, Thor is reunited with Banner when they are forced to do battle in the arena. The unlikely pair succeeds in overthrowing the Grandmaster (in place of the Red King) and flee to Asgard. We can only assume that Ragnarok laid out the story for World War Hulk. If so, all Marvel has to do now is capitalize on the hype. If nothing else, the Avengers already have people who can take on The Hulk if he goes on a rampage, like She-Hulk and Abomination.

Hints for season 2 of She-Hulk

In one scene during the season finale, She-Hulk breaks the fourth wall by climbing out of the Disney+ app. She lands in the Disney studio and takes a stroll through the lot. We see several Disney easter eggs including a statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse, The Seven Dwarves, and a poster for Captain America. She then barges into the production room for She-Hulk where the writers are discussing the second season of the series. Jen wants to do the second season her way but the writers tell her what Kevin Feige wants. She-Hulk then storms Kevin’s office where she learns he is a robot and has a conversation with him about her series and the MCU. There is a ton of easter eggs during this scene but one key takeaway is that the writers were talking about season 2. While this may all be just some joke as She-Hulk did break the fourth wall, it will certainly get our hopes up for a follow-up to a surprisingly well-received series. Both the World War Hulk and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 2 are purely speculations at this point. However, we know Marvel deliberately includes these easter eggs and plot elements to expand the MCU. At this point, we still do not know where and when Bruce Banner will appear next. We hope that he will be part of the Avengers in Phase 6 and finally get his own MCU movie after. As for She-Hulk, there has been no official announcement for a second season. Hopefully, however, the fourth-wall-breaking scene from the season finale is a strong indicator that Jen is coming back for another season. In any case, we shouldn’t expect to see World War Hulk in the MCU anytime soon after Disney shuffled its upcoming films due to the production delays faced by Blade. Thankfully, it won’t be long before we see another fourth-wall-breaking character now that Deadpool 3 is official.
