Netmarble and Marvel Games’ Marvel Future Revolution is a sequel to Marvel Future Fight that’s set to release on the iOS and Android platforms. Together, they plan on improving what the 2015 superhero-themed mobile game started, allowing players to customize their Marvel characters even further.
Play as your favorite Avenger on the go
From the looks of it, Marvel Future Revolution is aiming to give gamers a AAA open-world experience on the mobile platform. In a recent interview with Twinfinite, the developers talked about wanting to make Marvel Future Revolution appeal to both casual gamers and hardcore gamers. The team is hoping to attract console players with the game’s graphics and open-world design. At the same time, they’re hoping that game’s “fatigue-free” makes it appealing to casual mobile gamers as well. To keep everything fresh, the team is hoping to add new content to Marvel Future Revolution every 5 to 6 weeks. In case you’re wondering how the game will look, you can check out the gameplay footage below. It features everybody’s favorite web-head, Spider-Man, going through the introductory mission that’s set in the Hydra Empire, which, as the name suggests, is an area dominated by Hydra. From the looks, it seems like the development team knows what they are doing. Marvel Future Revolution even has an advantage over Crystal Dynamics - the studio behind Marvel’s Avengers still hasn’t brought Spider-Man to their game despite teasing the hero’s arrival last year. Having said that, despite the console-like graphics of Marvel Future Revolution, the developers want to keep it on mobile. Unfortunately, a release date for the game on the iOS and Android platforms remains unavailable.
