WWE Hall of Famer and chief content officer, Triple H, confirmed on Saturday that the Head of the Table will fight Logan Paul on November 5 at the Crown Jewel. The WWE event will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The undisputed WWE Universal Championship will be on the line. The entirety of The Tribal Chief’s stable attended the press conference in Las Vegas along with Paul and Reigns. Triple H’s pedigree (pun intended) as someone you don’t want to mess with was useful after he diffused a potentially messy situation when Paul called out the champ and the two almost butted heads right there and then. Paul somewhat telegraphed the upcoming showdown at his Impaulsive podcast last week. The longest-reigning WWE Universal Championship accused Paul of talking trash following his appearance. Paul responded with a SmackDown appearance that Friday. Reigns’ posse, Paul Heyman and The Usos, Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa, tried to intimidate the YouTube sensation. But, Paul was undeterred. He then announced the aforementioned Crown Jewel press conference before making his leave. Paul has quickly proven that he belongs in the WWE. Paul sold matchup as he expressed his confidence in his ability to win. Paul pointed out that he’d already put up a good showing against the undefeated boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr., in his second bout. On the other hand, Reigns claimed that he’ll stop at nothing from dominating Paul in November. Paul has definitely made several heads turn after making his WWE in-ring debut earlier this year, after teaming up with The Miz at WrestleMania 38 to take down the father-and-duo duo, Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Paul then won his first solo matchup at SummerSlam after defeating his former teammate, The Miz. Although Paul is a controversial influencer, many couldn’t help but praise his performance in the WWE ring so far. Paul is expected to go back to the boxing ring in January following his wrestling bout against Reigns in November. It’s not clear yet who Paul will box. It’s believed that he’ll fight as an undercard for KSI’s next fight. As for Reigns, reports suggest that the future Hall of Famer will continue his nearly two-year reign well onto next year at WrestleMania 39. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s name has been thrown around as a potential opponent for Reigns at next year’s WrestleMania.
