Several sources corroborate that multiple Horizon projects are in development over at Sony right now. In addition to the PC port of the sequel, Sony is reportedly thinking of remaking Horizon Zero Dawn for the PlayStation 5 with a multiplayer spin-off also in development. Not to mention, a since-deleted tweet from voice actor, Lance Reddick, confirms that DLC for Horizon Forbidden West is also in the works.
It’s no secret that Sony wants to bring its best-selling titles to the PC platform. After Horizon Zero Dawn paved the way, the sequel’s arrival was a matter of when and not if. The PC port was also included in the Nvidia GeForce Now leak. We’re now expecting Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Ghost of Tsushima, among others, to come to the PC in due time. Going back to the leaked document, several insiders have referred to it as legitimate. Some things might have changed in the past year, but all of what we’ve heard suggests that all of the info it contains is true. Some of the games in it are corroboratory as well. For example, the codename for Death Stranding 2 and the PC port of Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Regardless of what happens, the next six months are huge for Sony’s PC ports. After making bold claims about its expected profit from PC ports for the fiscal year, Sony is set to expand its PlayStation Studios library with Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and The Last of Us Part 1. Returnal is also all but confirmed, all that we’re waiting for is official confirmation.
