Is Farming Simulator 2022 Confirmed?
For years, the Farming Simulator games were the go-to titles for anyone looking to get a taste of what it’s like to live on and run a farm. GIANTS Software’s series of simulation games had a near-yearly release for over a decade. The series became so successful that a Farming Simulator esports league was even established in 2019. However, after releasing Farming Simulator 20, which wasn’t really that much of an improvement over Farming Simulator 19, Farming Simulator 21 was notably absent. Fast forward to today and GIANTS Software has finally decided to delight longtime fans with a formal Farming Simulator 22 announcement.
When Is the Farming Simulator 22 Release Date?
According to the latest teaser trailer, Farming Simulator 22 is expected to release in the fourth quarter of 2021. Unfortunately, the trailer for Farming Simulator was also exactly just what it implied - a teaser only. However, it did manage to provide several exciting new details for the upcoming installment in the Farming Simulator franchise. For one, Farming Simulator 22 will introduce a seasonal cycle. This means that players will have to worry about how their crops will fare during the winter months and the summer months, among other improvements. According to the trailer, Farming Simulator 22 will also introduce a bunch of new toys for farming enthusiasts to play with. This includes everything from vehicles to equipment, machines, maps, crops, and so on. Perhaps the biggest change with Farming Simulator 22 though, is that it will be a next-gen title. With that said, we can expect Farming Simulator 22 to be the best-looking Farming Simulator game as of yet.
