Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled to release on October 28, 2022, with Warzone 2 following just after, according to the recent leaks. Apparently, players won’t have to wait months to experience the new extraction mode. The widely-known rating board, the ESRB, has rated Warzone 2.0 with potential leaks in the ‘Rating Summary’ section that may have given away what the new Warzone will include.

According to the summary, the “players engage in a variety of multiplayer combat events (e.g., battle royale, plunder-style skirmishes/DMZ).” The battle royale, plunder-style, and most importantly, the mention of DMZ suggests that we might get the mode with the release of Warzone 2. If you’ve been following our previous reports and the leaks, Warzone 2 does not seem that far off in the future after the global release of Modern Warfare 2. Not to forget that earlier this month, the LA Rams football player, Cameron Dicker, was invited to try Modern Warfare 2 early. The player shared a potentially sensitive blurred image on his Instagram story that confirmed the addition of DMZ. While the developers have not given any official news about DMZ, fans can expect to learn more during the product showcase on September 15, 2022, with the Infinity Ward developers going into more detail.
