What kind of games is Epic Games Store giving away now?
For the better part of the past two years, the Epic Games Store has made it a point to give away games constantly. Sure, not all of them are noteworthy, but a free game is a free game. However, Epic just upped the ante for the holiday season by giving a new game every day, starting with Shenmue III. But, you’d have to be fast. Right now, Shenmue III is no longer available for free although you can still have the game for a massive discount. The good news is that the next game, Remnant: From the Ashes, is much better. So far, Epic hasn’t revealed its third free game yet. Until then, we recommend that you pick up Remnant as soon as you can while waiting. With that said, the Epic Games Store’s holiday sale is another reason to go and check out its offerings. In addition to the discounted games, every game purchased that’s over $14.99 will come with a $10 coupon. This effectively means that if you buy 100 games that are worth at least $15, you’ll get $1,000 off since there’s no limit to how many coupons you’ll get. In addition to what we’ve already mentioned, Epic is also giving away freebies in its games. For example, the “Blizzabelle Outfit” is currently available for free in Fortnite. Other items like the “Oscira Longsword” and “Oscira Staff” are all part of the freebie package for Warframe with Rocket League players receiving “the “Twista: Special Edition Inverted Wheels” vehicle for free.
