When Is The Dying Light Platinum Edition Release Date?

The Platinum Edition is described as the “richest version” of Techland’s Dying Light. According to the description, the upcoming new release will include all the four biggest DLCs released for Dying Light, as well as 17 skin bundles. Eagle-eyed observers were quick to report on the listing, which was only available for a few moments before Microsoft decided to take it down. Surprisingly enough, Dying Light: Platinum Edition did not come with a price tag. However, it is expected to release on May 27, which is also when Techland plans on making an official announcement for Dying Light 2 as per the earlier teaser. It’s also worth noting that Techland had already released a similar compilation in October 2020. Titled as Dying Light: Anniversary Edition, which comes with nearly just as much content.

Is Dying Light 2 Releasing Soon?

Unfortunately, there’s no word as of yet when Dying Light 2 will release. The last we heard was Techland confirming that Dying Light 2 will release this 2021. Just when exactly this year is not certain right now. If it’s any consolation, we’ll get multiple possible chances to hear more about Dying Light 2. In addition to the expected May 27 reveal from Techland, there are multiple gaming showcases confirmed for June. Although Techland is not guaranteed to be part of those, being a next-gen title, there’s a huge chance that we’ll see Dying Light 2 make an appearance at E3 2021, if not in other upcoming events. Until then, fans can get a chance to experience Dying Light all over again when Dying Light: Platinum Edition comes out.
