Earlier this year, Fortnite made waves as the Zero Crisis Finale event saw a mysterious being known simply as The Foundation sacrifice himself to seal The Zero Point. Back then, fans already knew to expect more from The Foundation. Many even believed that The Foundation was none other than The Rock, judging by their similar builds and how his armor looks similar to the Hollywood superstar’s famous tattoo. Fast forward to the end of Chapter 2 and this was all confirmed as The Foundation finally removed his helmet, showing off Dwayne Johnson’s face in virtual form.
The Rock proves that he can appear in just about everything
Earlier last week, The Rock teased his appearance in Fortnite while promoting one of his beverages. Just a few days later, fans finally got to know the man behind The Foundation as Epic Games ended Chapter 2 and paved the way for Chapter 3. Naturally, Fortnite fans are happy to know that The Rock is in Fortnite. Just as with his appearance earlier this year, The Foundation will retain his distinctive armor that’s styled after Dwayne Johnson’s tattoo. The vigilante appears to be committed to the cause of stopping people from doing bad stuff to The Zero Point. However, we’d understand if you’re confused about all of this. Not everyone has the time to keep up with what’s happening in Fortnite, especially now that the island’s finally flipped over and the map is looking a whole lot different from before. With that said, the important thing here is that Fortnite Chapter 2 has ended. Similar to how a black hole ended Fortnite Chapter 1, Fortnite Chapter 2 saw Epic Games flip the island for Chapter 3. In addition to The Rock, Epic Games has also collaborated with Marvel to bring Spider-Man over to Fortnite. More importantly, Fortnite just made history with the release of Chapter 3. The popular battle royale shooter is now the first and only publicly available game that’s running on Unreal Engine 5. In other The Rock news, the future WWE Hall of Famer just dropped a new photo of himself as Black Adam. Dwayne Johnson is set to make his DCEU debut in July 29, 2022.
