Mini Royale
A brand new Battle Royale mode has been introduced - a fast-paced Battle Royale in condensed areas of Verdansk. The shrinking circle is very small and currently, the mode can only be played in Trios.
New War Tracks
You can now allocate War Tracks to your vehicles. This means, that now when you enter your vehicle that equipped music will start playing. You can select and equip different War Tracks form the “Vehicle Customization” section under the “Weapons” tab. To unlock these War Tracks, you will need to buy the Season 5 Battle Pass as they are one of the Instant Rewards you get. Some people reportedly were not able to listen to War Tracks or even listen to the preview. The War Tracks are directly linked to the volume of the in-game music. So, if you’re volume in the settings is turned down, then you won’t be able to hear the War Tracks.
New Mastery Challenges
There are new Mastery Challenges introduced in both Warzone and regular multiplayer version of COD. Completing this Mastery Challenges unlocks unique and special Calling Cards. You can access the new Mastery Challenges by navigating to the “Challenges” tab and then selecting the “Mastery Challenges” from the list.
These Mastery Challenges are similar to the Weapon Mastery Challenges which were introduced in Season 4 but this time around, it is based on the game modes Warzone and COD multiplayer. For example, the number of Battle Royale victories and Plunder victories you obtain, etc.
New Weapons
There are two new weapons introduced in Season 5 - the ISO (SMG) and AN-94 (AR). Both these weapons are free to acquire and you do not need to buy the Battle Pass. ISO The ISO SMG unlocks at Battle Pass tier 15. AN-94 The AM-94 AR unlocks at Battle Pass tier 31.

There are two new operators added on the Allegiance side, under Shadow Company. They are Marcus “Lerch” Ortega and Velikan. Roze is now also under the Shadow Company category.

Marcus “Lerch” Ortega Lerch is unlocked as soon as you buy the Battle Pass. You can unlock different variants of this operator by completing the challenges. There are two variants - Gargantua and Colossus Challenges: Get 15 kills, using a gun with 3 attachments, with Lerch as your Allegiance Operator Survive inside of the gas for 7 seconds with Lerch as your Allegiance Operator Activate the Dead Silence Field Upgrade 3 times using Lerch as your Allegiance Operator Stun enemies 3 times using a Stun Grenade with Lerch as your Allegiance Operator
Velikan Velikan can be unlocked by either purchasing a Velikan Operator Bundle from the in-game store or by acquiring a skin for this Operator. You can find more information about all the Operators here.
New Mil-Sim Skins
Two new Mil-Sim Skins have been introduced, one for each Allegiance and Coalition. However, you can only acquire these skins if you’ve bought the Battle Pass. For Allegiance, a new Shadow Company Mil-Sim Skin has been added and for Coalition, we have a new JTF2 (Joint Task Force 2). Lerch is unlocked as soon as you buy the Battle Pass. Just like any other Mil-Sim Skins, these two skins also have variations (Shadow Company I, II & III or JTF2 I, II & III) and they can be unlocked by completing the challenges. Note that you can complete the challenges even after the Season ends as long as you have acquired the main skin through Battle Pass.

Stadium
The most anticipated and hyped up aspect of this season was the opening of the Stadium, and now it has finally happened, the Stadium is open and accessible to play in. The stadium has a variety of features including secret loot rooms, grapples, and even a basement parking area. The roof of the Stadium has been blown open as well, making it accessible from the top.
Train
If you’ve been playing Warzone you would have witnessed the addition of train tracks in Verdansk over the 2-3 week period preceding the update. Now, there is a train going around on those tracks and it carries a lot of valuable loot, including Legendary Loot Crates. Just remember you won’t be the only one aiming to get your hands on the loot! The train also has an ammo refill station/crate.
