The new video serves more the purpose of bringing newer players up to speed on the storyline of Modern Warfare, which the new season will continue, provided you have purchased the game. However, Warzone is still free to play, and will get a full content treatment too. Season 4 will officially kick off on the 3rd of June, bringing all kinds of new content to the popular Battle Royale. We don’t exactly know what that new content is, but we do know that Captain Price will be the featured operator of the season, and a special SMG will be hidden somewhere in Verdansk. There’s also that recent discovery of a nuke in Bunker 11 that raised some questions. We’re eager to see what kind of role that, as well as the odd references to Black Ops, will play in the future of the game. The developers are bound to reveal further details in the coming days.
As usual, we’re expecting some new weapons, vehicles and above all else, new playlists. Cycling new and interesting game modes in and out of Warzone - while keeping the core ones, of course - is doing wonders for keeping things fresh, and we always love jumping into a new game mode. With this season wrapping up, make sure to get a few more matches in with your squad before the 3rd of June, so you’re ready for the new content. The Battle Pass is definitely getting renewed in the next season too, so make sure to brush up on how it all works with our handy guide.
