We have gathered all the information related to pre-loading for each platform. If you’re looking to know how and when to pre-load Black Ops Cold War, then continue on! Activision has provided official confirmation about the date, time, and size of the game for each platform, as you can see below.
PC
You can download Call of Duty: Black Ops Code War on PC through Blizzard’s Battle.Net launcher. The game will be available to pre-load on November 10 at 10 AM PT. The PC download size will be 35 GB for multiplayer only and 82 GB for the full game. If you opt to go for Ultra Graphics intended for more powerful systems, then your full game size will bump up to a hefty 125 GB. You can find more information on the download size and PC specs here.
PlayStation
PlayStation 4 owners can start pre-loading on November 5th at 9 PM PT. To pre-load Black Ops Cold War, you must have the following free space on your respective consoles:
Playstation 4: 95GB Playstation 5: 133GB
Those who have purchased PS5 can rejoice as they can pre-load the game the second they get their hands on the consoles. The PS5 is set to launch on November 12, 2020.
Xbox
Xbox One pre-loading starts on November 5th at 9 PM PT. You must have the following free space on your Xbox to pre-load the game:
Xbox One: 93GB Xbox Series X or S: 136GB
Just like the PS5 owners, those who ordered the new Xbox X or S will be able to pre-load Black Ops Cold War the moment they get their console on launch day, that is, November 10, 2020. Note that both PC and console players can choose to install or uninstall specific game mode packs, such as for Campaign or Zombies, to manage and reduce overall game file size.
