Is Dawn of Ragnarok the third expansion for Valhalla?
Earlier this year, a prominent data miner who goes by the handle of j0nathan on YouTube did a great job at delving deep into the game files of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Because of his efforts, audiences have found out about Ubisoft’s plans for more content for Valhalla long before the studio made the official announcement. This includes the potential setting for future DLCs such as Muspelheim and Zvarthelheim. With that said, j0nathan looked into Valhalla’s files once again following the game’s latest update and found proof that the next expansion for Valhalla is going to be called Dawn of Ragnarok. Feel free to watch the YouTube video yourself to know more about j0nathan’s findings. But, be warned, it is in French. The gist of j0nathan’s findings is the title itself, as well as the possible trophy and achievement list that hints at new weapons and abilities for Eivor that range from everything such as crow flight to teleportation arrows, invisibility, and even the ability to bring enemies back from the dead. Unfortunately, there’s no word when this expansion will release. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t arrive until 2022. We already know that Ubisoft is going to release more DLCs for Valhalla next year, which suggests that there’s no new Assassin’s Creed coming in 2022. Not to mention, Dawn of Ragnarok is shaping up to be a much larger expansion than each of the last two, so Ubisoft will want to take its time working on it before dropping more details. We’d like to remind you that nothing that we just said is confirmed. The source might be reliable and reputable, but it’s not official. There’s no telling whether or not Ubisoft will indeed release the content found in the game files.
