If the recent reports are to be believed, international sportswear manufacturer, Adidas, is working on at least four Xbox shoes. All four shoes are scheduled for a 2021 release, with the first pair coming in June 2021.
What Do the Adidas Xbox Shoes Look Like?
A recent report from the pop culture website, Complex, says that Microsoft is set to release four Xbox-branded shoes this year. The image above is said to be one of the upcoming shoes that’s part of the Xbox-Adidas shoe collaboration, with the information coming from leaked documents. According to Complex’s report, Adidas has revealed details about the upcoming collaboration, as part of which they will make shoes designed after the Xbox video game consoles. Unsurprisingly, the design of the only shoe revealed so far comes in a black, white, and neon green colors. The shoe design also features the Xbox logo prominently on its heel. The shoes will apparently ship in Xbox-branded green-colored boxes too. So far, Adidas nor Microsoft have yet to reveal information regarding the pricing of the Xbox shoes.
When Will the Adidas Xbox Shoes Release?
The first pair of shoes is expected to release in June 2021. It will be a promotional version of the new Forum Tech Boost shoe style from Adidas. After this, two Xbox-themed Forum Mids will drop in October. This will be followed by an Xbox-themed Forum Tech Boost in November. According to the same report, more Xbox-themed shoes from Adidas will be coming next year in 2022. Weirdly enough, Microsoft and Xbox aren’t the first to team up with a sportswear manufacturer this month alone. Sony recently announced its partnership with Nike and Los Angeles Clippers player, Paul George, which will see Nike release PS5-themed shoes. Unlike the Adidas Xbox Shoes, the PG 5 PlayStation 5 is expected to release on May 14. It will come with a $120 price tag and a design that features PlayStation’s signature blue and white color scheme.
