When is the Battlefield 2042 beta going to start?
EA appears insistent on not letting any info about the Battlefield 2042 tests leak outside of the select players. The studio has even gone as far as to threaten to ban Battlefield 2042 technical test leakers for life. This probably explains why audiences haven’t seen much of Battlefield 2042 lately. The good news is that it’s only a matter of weeks before anyone gets a chance to play through Battlefield 2042. At least, if the Chinese website Bilibili is to be believed.
— Tom Henderson (@Tom_Henderson) September 27, 2021 According to Tom Henderson, who spotted the listing, the Battlefield 2042 multiplayer beta is scheduled from October 6 through October 9. Coincidentally, Henderson was also the same source of a recent leak claiming that EA has moved Battlefield 2042’s beta dates from September to October. Going back to Bilibili’s listing, Henderson added that the Battlefield 2042 beta might last longer than October 9. Some fans also believe that a select few will have a chance to play through the Battlefield 2042 beta earlier compared to others. In addition to this, the leak lacked information about how crossplay will work in Battlefield 2042 or if it’s going to be available for the beta. In comparison, Activision held a separate open beta for Call of Duty: Vanguard for each platform before enabling cross-play for its final weekend. Regardless of whether these Battlefield 2042 beta dates are real or not, fans are expecting EA to hold one. This has been the case for previous Battlefield games and Battlefield 2042 should be no different. Not to mention, EA could use some help fine-tuning Battlefield 2042 ahead of its delayed November 19 release date. Of course, this isn’t to say that we wouldn’t welcome official news about the official Battlefield 2042 beta dates. We’re pretty sure fans wouldn’t mind knowing when these test flights are going to happen. Players will need the heads up so that they have time to clear their schedules and take time off work or school.
