The all-new Jordan Challenge will kick off with the game that solidified the path of the Chicago Bulls legend with “The National Championship Game” between the North Carolina Tar Heels against the Georgetown University Hoyas on March 29, 1982. Despite playing with future Hall of Famer, James Worthy, and against another Hall of Famer, Patrick Ewing, the 6-6 guard still stood out as he buried the game-winning shot to give his coach, Dean Smith, his first national championship. According to 2K, NBA 2K23 will have “era-specific broadcast elements” designed to capture the basketball games of their era, complete with straightforward graphics design and big block letters. We’re sure that basketball fans are excited to get their hands on NBA 2K23. Thankfully, just like clockwork, NBA 2K23 will come out on September 8 with Devin Booker and, of course, Michael Jordan, as the cover athletes, among others. Speaking of NBA 2K23, the upcoming basketball sim is included in the Take-Two Interactive release pipeline scheduled from April through March 2025.
