MultiVersus just kicked off a new season with some big announcements. Season 2 will add a lot of new content, including a fan-favorite cartoon as a playable character. Season 1 kicked off a few months ago with a surprise announcement that Black Adam and Stripe were coming to the game. Similarly, Season 2 of MultiVersus will add a new character in Marvin the Martian, from the Looney Toons cartoons. Marvin the Martian is one of the many characters that faced off against Bugs Bunny in the Looney Toons....

Information of Netflix’s rumored expansion comes from The Information, which cites “people familiar with the situation” as its source. According to the report, Netflix has already begun reaching out to key figures within the video game industry as they search for an executive to help usher in their video game expansion....

Netflix originally announced the series earlier in the year, after which it released a teaser trailer. Since then, the company did not release any additional information. However, that has now changed with its latest update which includes the show’s plot, release date, and trailer, alongside the previously mentioned voice characters. Netflix has a track record for releasing awesome video game adaptations in different forms whether it is live-action, animation, feature films, or television series like Arcane, Cyberpunk: Edgerunner, The Witcher, Tekken: Bloodline, Pokemon, Dota: Dragon’s Blood, Cuphead, and Castlevania....

The cast and crew of Wakanda Forever give their views on the making of the sequel and the impact that Chadwick Boseman had on the movie. The movie honors and celebrates the life of King T’Challa while the actors pay tribute to Boseman. “Audiences have embraced Wakanda and Black Panther. The news made the rounds on Twitter initially, with a reputable industry insider who sports a good track record of reporting accurate info spoke about a fifth mainline Sly Cooper game being in development. The insider, Nick Baker, reiterated that the game is very early in development. Very early in development generally tends to translate to “years away from release, and maybe even official acknowledgement” - GTA fans sure know how that feels - and in the current climate of common game delays you just can’t bet on development pipelines anymore....

An official job listing hints that Blizzard is working on new anti-cheat features for Overwatch 2. Cheating is a major problem in Overwatch and has been for a long time. Despite Blizzard’s efforts, hackers are still finding ways to mess up the ranked ladder and make life miserable for everyone else. As the follow-up is expected to attract malicious technologically-inclined individuals (and people willing to pay such people to get a leg up over the competition), it’s nice to know that Blizzard isn’t resting on its laurels....

Now, taking a precautionary approach considering the pandemic, Paranormal Activity 7 will be available to watch via the Paramount+ in the comfort of your own home. The last Paranormal Activity movie was released almost 6 years ago. It was apparent that the same old “homemade” camera footage format of the movie was getting old, as indicated by the declining financial performance of the franchise. It seems Paramount is determined to revive the series with the upcoming Paranormal Activity 7 by going back to its roots and adopting the original “found-footage” style....
